Every cell has its own song and working with instruments like the gong - with such a wide sonic spectrum- allows the cells to absorb the frequencies that are harmonious to their healthy functioning.

Sound creates a profound sense of relaxation by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which affects the endocrine and hormonal balance of the whole body. We see the heart rate, breathing and brain waves slow down.

On a subtle level, I find that working regularly with sound clears the residue of stress and disharmonious vibrations in the energy field before they become blockages and ultimately dis-ease.

The mind is very quickly absorbed by the sound, creating inner space and quiet which allows the body’s natural healing resources to awaken. A purification may take place, of thoughts, emotions or memories.
